My Story

Michelle Dini is an artist based in Houston, Texas. Growing up in Progreso, Texas, Michelle found a love for art when visiting the mercados in Nuevo Progreso, Mexico.  She was inspired by the rich colors and textures in the paintings that reflected the regional culture.  

In college Michelle immersed herself in art classes and continues to study with a renowned teacher and mentor Candy Tangney. She enjoys exploring other textural mediums including using layers of fun colors throughout her paintings.  

Michelle’s art is inspired by the natural beauty of the outdoors and the rich textures found in daily life. She is influenced by modern impressionism with wide range of subject matter. Abstracts, still life, landscapes, animal life are among the works in her catalogue.

Michelle believes in the notion of philanthropy. She has donated works of art to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and School, The Tourette Association and the Barrio Dogs Foundation and others.
